Consumer Evaluations

Prior to you acquire, test out any walker on your baby:
I have a tall infant who has been mistaken for a 1 year old considering that he was 4 months old. When he was five months, my husband, my child and I went shopping for a walker. Initially, we planned on getting the Combi walker that resembles a car. Even though it was nice looking, it only had 2 height settings and even the highest setting could not accomodate my son who's knees were bent as he strolled about the retailer aisle. Because the shop did not have any other walkers that were sturdy, we went home discouraged. I decided to search the world-wide-web for other brands that we didn't think about and somebody suggested this a single. Not only did people their babies love it, but it was [...] less costly than the auto.
Why I appreciate it:
1. Height settings: It has 3 of them and the lowest is the height of the tallest on the Combi. The middle setting is fantastic for him and it makes us really feel beneficial to know that there is nonetheless a higher setting left.
two. Sturdy: It is truly well put together all around. My son bumps into the furniture all of the time and the walker never tilts. He also tries to reach for factors, typically stretching toward the floor and the walker does not budge. It also has brake pads below it which is an added safety function. The plastic that is produced out of is highly fine quality as opposed to a wobbly Jeep walker that we saw in the shop constructed out of low cost and thin plastic.
3. The tray play center: It has 3 settings of music, animal sounds, and a combination of the two and he loves to play with it. In reality, I love to play with it. Lots of lights, music, drum beats, animal noises. It is seriously hassle-free to install it (one swift snap) and quite simple to eliminate (not simple for baby to get rid of) so your infant can use it when he's out of the walker or immediately after he grows out of it. My only concern just after searching at this web page is the color of it - mine is light green and yellow and the one pictured right here is multicolored. Color genuinely does not matter to me but if it matters to you, you may well want to appear into it additional.
four. The walker conveniently flattens with the pull of a lever and press of a button for effortless transport or for storage.
5. Child loves it!
What I do not like so a lot (which is why I took off a star):
1. Adjusting the height setting can be tricky. There is also no indicator that tells you which setting you are on so it may possibly take several tries just before you figure out which setting it really is on. I often eye it.
2. While it flattens conveniently for transport, there is no lock to preserve it that way so even even though it really is flat, it opens right back up as you carry it.
3. Placing the fabric on the seat when you put it together for the to begin with time can be painful to your fingers. But as soon as it's completed, it really is accomplished! (Hopefully it will never get dirty).
I extremely advocate this walker.

I ordered this for my daughter on Feb 8 and it arrived at our door step on Feb 11th. We were so excited that we put it together right away and put her in it...immediately she figured out that putting her hands on the buttons produced sounds and she loved it. Her eyes were filled with wonder as she inquisitively explored the many toys. Everytime we put her in it she'll devote the initial five mins playing with the toys. When she's had adequate of it then will she appear up and appear for us tries to move about. Simply because she is only 3.five months old her feet don't rather touch the floor fully even at the lowest setting so we padded the adjustable component with rolled up cardboard so that the walker sits lower to the floor just a bit alot more for her feet to reach. (We put a superior amount of weight to the test to make sure the card board would not give into the weight due to the fact we would not want the walker to all of a sudden fold down whilst she's in it...we ultimately replaced the cardboard with a paint stick) We've quite possibly put her in it a hand complete of times, and yesterday she actually walked in it We couldn't think that a 3.5 months old was roaming the property in this walker. We have hardwood floor on the entire initial floor so she'd slide around quite effortlessly, we'd have to rescue her whenever she runs into the corner of the wall and puts herself in timeout even though. But even when that occurs she just plays with the toys when she's stuck. She loves this and we'd highly advise it. 6/18/08 Update: she is now 7 months and is currently trying to walk. She climbs almost everything in sight and grabs hold and stands...I can't assist but consider if she is so advanced for her age considering we began her off in this walker particularly early on and consequently she had a complete grasp of the idea of walking and moving about. Needless to say from three.five-7 months, she enjoyed the walker immensely, and it gave both her and I so~ a lot freedom. She would fly around the residence estatic, and mastered reversing and turning easily. Now at 7 months and standing, she is not as interested in sitting in this walker so I am on a search for a thing that will continue to give her the independence to discover and find out with tiny or no aid from me...possibly the "walking wings" next?!?
