Consumer Critiques

I am a dermatologist, and this is my favorite sunscreen. I have lupus and my husband is especially fair, and this is the sunscreen we each use. I use it on my infant as well. It doesn't clog pores and there is essentially absolutely nothing allergenic in this sunscreen. Zinc Oxide and Titanium dioxide are inert minerals and don't lead to rash. The only other sunscreen that works as well as this a single is the 30 dollar skinceuticals version. I advise it to all my patients. It's wonderful. I enjoy it!

Both my two-year olds have eczema and they both broke out severely right after use of the Neutrogena Baby Sunblock. I wonder if it dries out their skin even alot more (eczema is skin prone to serious drying). It just feels like it sucks the moisture out of my skin I can not stand the feel on my own hands following applying it to my twins. Their skin also broke out with the Aveeno Child product, while not as severely. We are currently applying the new Johnson Johnson item (supposedly a daily-use lotion that is SPF 40 it does not really feel so drying), and so far they are only breaking out a little bit. I believe I will attempt the California Infant item subsequent, if necessary.
